A més de seguir alguns trucs per a estalviar energia a casa, cal tenir en compte diferents factors que determinen com pots escalfar la teva llar de manera més barata. Alguns d’ells són: L’orientació de la façana. Influeix en la despesa energètica, perquè condiciona la climatització de la casa. Convé saber que si la teva casa té orientació est, l’habitatge s’escalfa al matí i es va refredant al llarg del dia, i que l’orientació nord és la més freda. Si la façana és oest, rep llum des de migdia fins al vespre; si dona al sud, la llum entra des de primera hora del matí fins a la posta de sol.
